What does the steep rise in electricity and natural gas prices mean for businesses? How do they react?
In the second half of 2021, energy markets saw rapid increases in prices. Many businesses report that this is a significant burden for them, aggravating the already very challenging circumstances broght about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
To better understand the effects of the price increases on Austrian businesses, their reactions, and their views on possible measures to help alleviate the effects, the Energy Institute for Business has carried out a survey in December 2021/January 2022.
