ESP: Energy Efficiency Hungary Austria

Information material on energy efficiency for five selected branches was published in German and Hungarian as part of this project. In addition, cross-border excursions for energy advisors and SMEs were held in the regions Györ-Moson-Sopron and Vienna to foster common learning and exchange of experience.

Aims of the project:

  • Businesses in the project region become more energy efficient and more climate friendly through an increase in the offer of information, networking opportunities, as well as (subsidized) energy consultancy (the latter primarily in the Győr-Moson-Sopron region).
  • Up-to-date sector-specific information materials are available for businesses as well as energy consultants in Hungary and Austria.
  • Identification of success factors for sustainably introducing support programmes related to energy efficiency for businesses in a city/region.
